Founder, partner and director of KALEIDO. She has been dedicated to international consulting since 1988, accompanying change processes that integrate and combine the organizational development approach with the personal development perspective. She designs, accompanies and implements participatory processes of strategic planning and evaluation, involving multi-sectoral stakeholders according to the projects’ needs.
She has supported and advised the participatory elaboration of regional development strategies, productive development strategies and export development strategies for national and international organizations, as well as sectorial policies on different subjects.
In the area of project planning and evaluation, she applies traditional and innovative participatory methods. An expert in international cooperation, she has trained planners and supported projects for the development of indicators, implementation of control and monitoring mechanisms, and knowledge management in more than 15 Latin American countries.
In the field of organizational development, training and HR development, she has provided wide-ranging consultancy services to social organizations as well as to public institutions and private companies. Among other things, she has led processes of participative design of strategies for climate improvement, training, team building, leadership, management coaching and workshops to support institutional reorganization.
Since 2012 she has been a teacher for the Triangular Cooperation Training Network for Latin America and the Caribbean with face-to-face and online programs.

María Teresa combines environmental, social and governance (ESG) management with strategic communication and dialogue facilitation.
She seeks to contribute to organizational change processes and collaborative initiatives for a more humane and sustainable world.
She was Manager of Corporate Affairs at AES Gener and Manager of Communications and Community Affairs at the Mining Council in Chile. Along with leading strategic communication tasks, she managed processes of citizen participation and social dialogue around large investment projects. She also led collaborative learning initiatives among various entities in order to achieve responsible relations between companies and communities, based on the collection and systematization of good practices and the analysis of failed cases.
As a consultant, she was Director of Community Relations and Social Investment at Burson-Marsteller Chile. She then co-founded Cobalto Comunicaciones y Gestión Social, where she began collaborating with Kaleido, contributed to the participatory development of public policies, and developed strategies and action plans for clients in the public, private and civil society sectors. She also worked as an associate consultant for Teco Natural Resources Group.
As an input for strategy development, María Teresa has conducted several qualitative diagnostics. She managed and led probabilistic surveys at national and international level with the support of applied artificial intelligence, as part of the technological company StatKnows. She has contributed to the development of public policies, mainly on environmental and climate management issues, and has developed strategic inputs and guidelines for non-profit organizations and companies in the mining, energy, port, cultural, financial, and real estate sectors.
Maria Teresa also serves as a senior external consultant to the International Development Bank (IDB), supporting CORFO in capacity building and the creation of an environmental and social management system. This, in the context of an early-staged financial support program for the deployment of commercial scale green hydrogen projects in Chile with international ESG standards.
She is a journalist from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and studied a Master in Social Sciences at ILADES. She has a diploma in Business Management from Universidad Católica and a diploma in Corporate Governance from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, and also obtained the certification of the Board Member Program of Tomate Governance. She is currently in the process of training in Reflective Social Practice with The Proteus Initiative.
Psychologist graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She has 20 years of work experience in large companies, combining with the areas of consulting and human resources management. She is also an Ontological Coach certified by The Newfield Network.
She provides specialized consulting services in leadership development, transformational learning and coaching for effectiveness and performance improvement, decision-making, strategic alignment and talent development. As a consultant for people development at the international consulting firm Refinery Leadership, she is responsible for development programs aimed at managers and supervisors. She has experience in the areas of Change, Leadership and Culture, participating in diagnosis, design, facilitation, coaching and management of the different processes.
She has previously worked in the Executive Development Management and in the Vice Presidency of Projects of Codelco as Head of Recruitment and Selection; in BHP Billiton, Price Waterhouse Coopers and Entel PCS. She also provides private psychological consultation, focusing on adult mental health development and coaching for professionals and executives.
In the last 20 years, she has supported participation and community relations processes for the transformation of conflicts through the facilitation of dialogue between diverse local actors. Her work from diverse institutional backgrounds –NGOs, local governments, consulting firms and the State– has allowed her to understand the complexity of social, territorial, and institutional processes.
In public policies, participation, dialogue and facilitation, she has led the pilot program of Voluntary Pre-investment Agreements, a multi-stakeholder territorial dialogue tool of the Sustainability and Climate Change Agency of Chile. She also promoted the pilot program of citizen participation in the Environmental Assessment System of CONAMA, the institution which then became the Ministry of Environment of Chile.
She has been a consultant and facilitator of multiple early citizen participation processes and company-community relationship strategies in complex territories with institutions such as Fundación Casa de la Paz, Minera Los Pelambres, Municipality of Lo Barnechea, AGEA, and Entorno social Consultores. She has participated in environmental impact studies with Earth & Environmental AMEC; Vial & Consultores Asociados and ARCADIS Chile SA. She has led and trained management teams in local development and community management with communities in conditions of urban, rural and indigenous poverty. She has evaluated and systematized experiences of social projects for Fundación AVINA, Center of Studies for the Development of Women, Municipality of Pudahuel, JUNDEP Corporation, Municipality of Santiago, and others.
In the academic field, she has 25 years of teaching experience in a number of universities, both in undergraduate and graduate programs. She has also been responsible for several training and academic management programs.
Management coaching is currently her passion and main professional occupation. She has spent many years as supervisor of the Newfield Network’s coach training program, of which she has also been general coordinator.
In the areas of leadership, teamwork and executive coaching, she has worked with management teams, including BNP Paribas Cardif and Codelco.
In the area of Human Resources development, she has accompanied the design and implementation of integrated management systems, expert careers and competency and leadership development programs. Previously, she worked in competency-based management training for Empresa de Telecomunicaciones de Cuba, Havana, as well as in the diagnosis and design of customer service processes for the company DIN. As a member of the Cahuala Consultores team, she worked in personnel selection and in the implementation of the first competency-based selection and development processes for Telefónica CTC.

Specialist in massive data analysis and collective dynamics, with emphasis on evolutionary strategic behavior and social conflict. He has worked as an academic researcher, consultant and strategic advisor for multiple institutions, supporting the analysis of behavioral dynamics in digital social networks; self-organized and sustainable management of common resources; and relations between institutions and urban, rural, indigenous and island communities.
He has collaborated with institutions such as WWF, UNDP, FAO, PRODESAL, GIA, COP25, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Housing and the Ministry of Social Development, as well as various companies and trade union organizations. His most notable work includes the development of models of collective behavior analysis within the independent academic laboratory CHuepeLabs (Chicago, USA) and within the Laboratorio de Social Listening SoL-UC, part of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
He teaches courses at the Universidad Academia de Humanismo Cristiano, School of Anthropology, and has been invited professor of the Master in Political Communication at the Universidad Católica de Chile. In both instances, he emphasizes the use of complex systems theory and computational methodologies to address socio-anthropological and strategic communication issues. He has also presented in several national and international conferences such as NetSciX (Network Science Society, USA) and SASE-Rise (Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica).
He is considered to be a pioneer in the introduction of complex computational modeling tools, artificial intelligence and dynamic networks in consulting and social advising.
He is a Social Anthropologist from the Universidad Academia de Humanismo Cristiano and Diploma in Software Analysis.
As a consultant, he has worked at AMSA, Aguas Andinas, Metro de Santiago, Gener, Banco de Chile and for several public sector agencies (Ministries and Municipalities), among other companies.
Working as an executive in several companies, highlighting his orientation to innovation and transformation of medium and large organizations has stood out.
Drawing upon his teaching work in universities and companies, his consulting experience in the private and public sector and his work experience of more than 20 years, he has developed new approaches to project development, leadership, learning and innovation.
He holds a degree in Industrial Civil Engineer from Universidad de Chile, MBA Tulane University, Master in Psychology (i), Newfield Certified Coach, and Relational Coach from the Relational Institute of Barcelona. He currently works as a consultant and teacher at the Faculty of Engineering of Universidad de Chile and the Adolfo Ibáñez University. He has specialized in planning, project, team and people management.
Since 2017 he has assisted as a junior consultant in participatory processes, documenting and collaborating in logistics. He contributes with a critical eye, commitment and eagerness to deliver quality work.
A 5th year anthropology student and future consultant in participatory planning, he is passionate about working with communities and also performing as an electrician.
He designed, implemented and led the participatory process of the MAPS Chile project on climate change mitigation in Chile (2011-2015), with the participation of 300 people from various sectors and led by a committee of seven Ministries. He has designed and implemented numerous participatory processes with companies, organizations and communities in different contexts and scales.
He is chairman of the international board of Fundación Futuro Latinoamericano in Quito, Ecuador (specialist in dialogue and conflict management); member of the Board of Directors of the Latin American LEDSLAC initiative for low carbon development, and board member of the “Escenarios Energéticos” and “Escenarios Hídricos” initiatives in Chile.
He has lectured on his areas of expertise at Universidad de Concepción, Universidad Alberto Hurtado, Universidad del Desarrollo and Universidad de Chile. He is a Civil Engineer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and holds a Master’s degree in Environment and Development from Cambridge University. He has completed specializations in “organic leadership” and, recently, in “sensitive activism” (on the power of observation to bring about social change). He lives with his family in Olmué and is also learning from working on the land.
Consultant and science communicator with extensive experience supporting projects and organizations’ communications and strategic relations.
He led the communications and content area of the Chilean technology startup Motivus, where he was in charge of the design and implementation of the communications strategy, content creation, digital platform management, communications coordination and public and private fundraising.
He was also communications and content coordinator at StatKnows, a technology company in which he supported communications and research work related to studies conducted at national and international level with the support of applied artificial intelligence.
As a consultant, he has led and supported projects of a broad nature -including science, environment, climate change and education- for organizations in the public and private sectors, academia and civil society.
Joaquín is a journalist from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, an expert in Public Communication and Science Dissemination from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, and a Master in Science Information and Communication from the Universidad de Granada.
Expert in organizational development with emphasis on participatory planning, he has worked in Germany and several Latin American countries. Some of his most notable activities include strategic consultancy for the German Technical Cooperation Agency GIZ and his work as advisor for the development of the National Vocational Training System in Panama (he was decorated by the Panamanian State), in the Chamber of the Transformation Industry of Mexico; processes to reach consensus on a proposal for an Environmental Law between the public and private sector in Mexico with the Business Coordinating Council (CCE) and Costa Rica; bilateral negotiation processes in Cuba, Panama and Mexico; the strategic planning of the National Sports Institute in Chile; the Faculty of Medicine of the Universidad de Santiago in Chile, and the development of the energy roadmap for the Aysén Region.
He has taught courses and advised on organizational development, negotiations, consensus building among public, private and civil society actors in Chile (PRODES), Costa Rica (CICR; CYMA), Germany (GTZ, DSE / INWENT), Mexico (Ministry of Economy, ANTAD business association) and the German Cooperation Agency GIZ. He has carried out organizational diagnostics and strategic planning for the Undersecretary of Public Health of the Ministry of Health and for the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of Chile. He has conducted workshops on leadership, training and strategic planning for Codelco, Fundación Chile, the Undersecretary of Regional Development, and the Regional Government in the regions of Los Ríos and Los Lagos, Chile.
He is one of the pioneers in participatory planning in Chile. Social Scientist and PhD in Philosophy from the University of Duisburg, Germany. He has taught courses on planning methodologies, organization, monitoring and evaluation of projects at the Universities of Chile, Duisburg, Düsseldorf and Free University of Berlin, among others.
She is an Ontological Coach, certified by The Newfield Network, and holds a Diploma in Systemic Pedagogy from CUDEC-Mexico.
She has extensive experience in group and individual coaching, and in the design, planning, coordination and execution of Human Resources projects.
Her contribution with different private companies and public institutions include training, workshops, coaching, and facilitation of organizational processes.
She has supported and oriented directors, executives and collaborators, allowing significant changes in leadership, team work, and in the effectiveness and sense of work of them and their organizations.
